The Walled Catalog showcases a radical take on a combined residential and transportation system composed of one large interconnected wall. The project aims to reject the divisive tendency inherent in a wall and explores how they can instead be used as a means of connection. As such, the walls dictate circulation throughout the city through a large mobility network while also creating residential interconnectivity and community-based courtyard spaces. Within Pasadena, the process of erecting walls effectively erases the boundary created by the existing 710 freeway and ties the two ends of Pasadena together with ease.
