Developed as a branch library within the Los Angeles State Historic Park, the Reading Circuit encourages the sharing of local culture through literature and conversation. Roundabout circulation paths give patrons equal access to every book, and circular rooms provide opportunities for both individual and collaborative work. Frosted glass also plays an integral role in the design by maintaining a sense of privacy within the library and slowing down any aging of the books.
